Evolution’s own, Coy Stewart, from the sitcom, Are We There Yet, has evolved into an award winning actor. On March 13, 2011 in Studio City, California, Coy was awarded the Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Young Actor in a Comedy or Drama Series. Coy’s talent has profound us in the early years of his career, when he took home the Overall Actor Award for our Talent Inc. National Showcase, held in Orlando, Florida. We were introduced to this talented young actor by DeAbreu Modeling and Consulting Agency in Columbia, South Carolina. Since then we have seen an enormous growth in Coy’s professional career. Evolution is thrilled to receive the following correspondence from Coy’s father on his son’s continual upward progression in the industry:

How are you? I hope all is well. Thank you so much for your love and support concerning Coy. We really appreciate it. Can you believe how much has happened? It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that we were in Orlando for the Showcase. We have been truly blessed and are thankful that we have people like you and Ericka on our “team”.
As I’m sure Keisha has told you, Coy recently won the Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Young Actor in a Comedy or Drama Series. We were thrilled when we learned that he had been nominated. Winning it was surreal because he was up against some very talented young actors: (Braeden Lemasters from Men of a Certain Age, Graham Phillips from The Good Wife, and Bradley Steven Perry from Good Luck Charlie).
Also, I am currently working on a book that chronicles our journey from the time Coy started at DeAbreu. I think it’s an interesting story and hopefully can help other parents who are looking to help their kids realize their dreams in this industry. To that end, I have also started a blog that I use to discuss various issues that parents deal with in the entertainment business. I have included a link below.
