Mike Richter is a Charlotte native with a creative twist. Born and raised in the Queen City, Mike brings a new edge to the beauty industry. He has been a Make Up and Hair Artist since 2009. Mike loves to apply his advanced techniques, creativity, and personality to his craft. To him hair and makeup is not just part of beauty, it is an art form. Mike’s experience speaks for itself as he transforms faces and hairstyles into masterpieces.

Along with his experience “behind the chair”, Mike has also launched a career in the Film and Fashion World. He has participated in numerous fashion events in Charlotte including Charlotte Fashion Week, Passport for Fashion, the 2011 White Party at the NC Music Factory and many more. Not only did he use his beauty skills with these events, but he also acted as an assistant producer. Mike is known for his talents to take on a “prism effect”. In the film world, Mike has taken part in local productions including Sleeping Around, Jessabelle, and others.

Mike is also diving into the world of Special FX. He has been in an ongoing apprenticeship with the winner of SyFy’s FaceOff Season 1, Conor McCullagh. Since the January of 2012, Mike has been honing his skills with this new found passion as his talents and career evolve.
